Mission

Our mission is for the UTA Baseball team to realize its full potential as a nationally recognized, perennial top caliber Division I competitor by utilizing the support of former UTA baseball players, coaches, trainers, etc through communication and organized events as necessary in order to increase attendance, enhance the team's recognition, improve facilities, and broaden financial support.

This site has been needed for a long time and we hope you will all support it by coming back here often to see how far UTA Baseball has come and where it is headed.  Coach Darin Thomas has great ambitions for the team's future; and there are few of us who haven't had a conversation discussing the truly great potential UTA has to reach a higher level......one that we all know can and should become a reality.

Well, that time is coming; quickly.   And the wonderful by-product of all this is that we now have a place where we can go to find old teammates, renew friendships, or just keep in touch.  Your suggestions will always be welcome so don't be afraid to throw out an idea you have that will help us grow.  

One last thing, plans for a new event center that will get the basketball and volleyball teams off the stage and into an arena have finally been approved.   Further enhancements for the baseball and softball facilities, and perhaps even the addition of other sports aren't very far down the road.  The days of the "commuter school" are fading and with your help and interest, we can all play a large role in this new beginning.
